Las Diablas represent Chile: press accreditation opens for the 2026 World Cup

Media professionals will have to fill in a form to cover the global showpiece, which will be played in August in Belgium and the Netherlands.

The International Hockey Federation has announced the opening of the accreditation process for media outlets interested in covering the 2026 Women’s World Cup, which will be played from 15 to 30 August.

The global showpiece will feature Las Diablas, who will represent the country after winning the Santiago 2026 Qualifiers. Chile are in Pool A alongside hosts the Netherlands, Japan and Australia, one of the most appealing pools in the opening stage of the biggest national-team championship in the sport.

Journalists who wish to apply must accept the terms and conditions and complete the official form available at the link provided by the FIH. Once the application has been submitted, applicants will receive a confirmation message stating that their request is under review.

The accreditation process will remain open until Monday 1 June 2026. Broadcast rights holders must coordinate directly with the FIH’s Senior TV and Broadcast Manager, Segundo Vila.
